Dear Reader, I appreciate the time you take to stop by. Let me apologize to you. I’ve been a little too ranty these days and I need to stick to talking about books. I read very, very slowly so it’s not like I can churn out tons of posts about what I read. If I tried that you would get a lot of “Book I’m Reading Day 156” sort of posts. So the content may be limited to memes for a while.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
You would think that after a week off of work I would have a slew of finished books to share. I don’t. I have one.
I’m using the term “Reading” very loosely. I keep insisting to myself that I’m reading these two.
I haven’t listened to this at all, but it’s back to work today so I’ll be back to listening.

Couch Potato News
I think my husband is becoming a Spanish-language entertainment convert. This week we finished up season one of El Miniserio del Tiempo and watched the first episode of season 2. He has also been adding Spanish movies to the Netflix watch list. We watched Cuerpo de Élite, a Spanish comedy from 2016. We probably didn’t get all the jokes, but slapstick is an international language. And I had to laugh at the gallego character (gallego=from the region of Galicia in Spain) who pretty much ran his mouth without making a point. My ancestors are from Galicia…so my husband has gotten a lot of mileage out of that joke. (Update: the same joke about rambling gallegos was made in an episode of Ministerio del Tiempo as well.
Really I think the TV is the reason for my reading slump and I’m just embracing it. There are just a lot of Spanish series that I’m enjoying right now.

I dumped the Twitter feed in the sidebar. I still can’t figure out images. I don’t want those huge images in my twitter feed or mocking me from my sidebar.
